New Buckets

With no Daytona news likely to show up for at least an age () lets talk helmets.

SHARK just debuted thier new Vision R 2 series. What I really like about the Vision R series is that SHARK offers the widest panoramic vision field on the market. vs the Vision R 1, the R 2's visor is 25% larger top to bottom and 10% wider.

Theres also been upgraded venting systems, reduced noise, and a new auto seal system for the visor. Also cool is the removable and washable lining for you long haired freaky people Ecclectic mix of colours and liveries as well...

It does look really well ventilated. And the mechanism that hinges the visor down looks cool in the way that is is semi-exposed. Plenty of color choices through the link too.

Here is my favorite color scheme.

I don't see a price anywhere on the site though.

they're more popular with the touring and ADV crowd to be honest because of their excellent ventillation and visibility. I kind of like them, something different than the scores of sportbikers in Arais, Bells...

As for pricing, you'd have to find it from a local retailer or an online source, they dont do direct sales from what I can tell...

So does that mean that they could vary in price depending on where you get them from?

I wonder why they are less popular than Bells and Arais. Are they more expensive, just more exclusive?

seems like a decent quality piece from the photos

but you really have to handle helmets in person to really get a feel for the type of quality

That is true or just look for reviews to see how well their build quality compares to the rest. It's a good way to find out while at your computer.
