Other than the Triumph Daytona 250, what others bikes have you looked into? These can be bikes that are already out or soon to be out, maybe within the same time frame as the Daytona 250.

Feel free to go into this as much as you want to

I have looked at the CBR250/300 from Honda. I also looked into the Suzuki GW250 since its so affordable.

It's been quite a wait for this bike so I am seriously considering jumping ship.

Where I'm located its only CBR300 (september) and Ninja 300 as the options. I've been looking into an old imported CBR250R with the I4's, but at the cost of getting one used I could legitimately get a CBR500...

yea I've also been seriously considering the used market. Plenty of options at a lower price. You could even spend the same as you would on a new bike, but end up getting something used with more power.

good choice, do you know when the CBR300 is set to come out in the country you're located in?

Used is a great option however there is not much in the way of small displacement sport bikes in north america. they just never existed before! Dual sports are quite cool, I've got a WR right now, but looking at an older CRF to hotrod a bit... might be a fun little project on the cheap

There must be a few small displacement sport bikes out there that you could buy used though. Since they are small displacement I feel that owners often sell them pretty fast when they are looking to upgrade to a high er displacement. So I think that they might not be as rate as you may think.

there's a good amount of them, all depending on how much you want to spend.
